On the 18th, JYP announced, "We have established a local subsidiary, 'JYP Latin America,' to advance into the Latin American music market." The company plans to launch the subsidiary in the third quarter of 2024, expanding tour areas and new business ventures for its artists while building communication channels with local fans. Furthermore, with the launch of its first major project, the audition program 'L2K' (LatinAmerica2Korea), JYP expressed its vision to introduce a Latin girl group based on the K-pop system. To achieve this, they are pursuing a strategic partnership with Universal Music Latino, a Latin label under Universal Music Group. The fusion of K-pop energy and the passionate creativity of Latin music is expected to create significant synergy, drawing the attention of global music fans.

In connection with this, Billboard reported, "JYP Entertainment will launch a Latin subsidiary focused on the Latin music market and the development of Latin artists." Highlighting the establishment of 'JYP Latin America,' Billboard emphasized that "through 'L2K,' JYP plans to create a unique global Latin girl group that maintains the essence of Latin music while undergoing the JYP training system" under the strategic partnership with Universal Music Latino.

Since the establishment of JYP USA in 2022, JYP has expanded the overseas tour regions for artists such as TWICE, Stray Kids, and ITZY, and developed new business models and strategic collaborations based in North America. In 2023, JYP launched the audition program 'A2K' (America2Korea) in collaboration with Republic Records, the No. 1 label in the U.S. selected by Billboard and a subsidiary of Universal Music, to create a North American girl group based on the K-pop system.
