According to their agency, ADOR, the music video for 'Super Shy,' one of the triple title tracks from NewJeans' (Minji, Hanni, Danielle, Haerin, Hyein) second EP 'Get Up,' exceeded 200 million views on YouTube as of the afternoon of the 23rd. This marks NewJeans' second music video to reach 200 million views, following the performance version of 'OMG.' The 'Super Shy' music video achieved 100 million views within just 90 days of its release on July 7th of last year, making it the fastest NewJeans video to reach this milestone.
The music video captivates global fans with its exotic visuals and dynamic, refreshing flash mob-style performance.
'Super Shy' features a unique sound characterized by Jersey club rhythms and an exciting beat. Upon its release, the song swept domestic and international charts. It stayed on Billboard's main song chart 'Hot 100' and the UK's Official Singles Chart 'Top 100' for 8 and 9 weeks respectively, peaking at 48th and 52nd positions. These rankings marked NewJeans' highest achievements on these charts to date.
