BTS's Jungkook has set another shining record on Spotify with his solo album 'GOLDEN'.
According to the latest chart (July 19-25) released by the world's largest music streaming platform, Spotify, Jungkook's first solo album 'GOLDEN' ranked 23rd on the 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart. This marks a rise of six positions from the previous week.
With 'GOLDEN', Jungkook has achieved the milestone of being the first and longest-charting Asian solo artist, maintaining his presence on this chart for 38 consecutive weeks.
In addition to the album chart, Jungkook's solo songs 'Seven' and 'Standing Next to You' ranked 48th and 92nd, respectively, on Spotify's 'Weekly Top Songs Global' chart for the same period. 'Seven' and 'Standing Next to You' have been on the chart for 54 and 37 weeks, respectively.
Previously, 'GOLDEN' recorded the highest weekly debut streaming (195.3 million, post-filtering) for an Asian solo artist album on Spotify's 'Weekly Top Albums Global' chart.
Jungkook has also set a new record as the first K-pop solo artist to have multiple songs (Left and Right, Seven) enter Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' chart for 300 days.
'GOLDEN' has become the first album by an Asian solo artist and the fastest album by an Asian artist to surpass 4 billion streams (pre-filtering) on Spotify. Additionally, it set a new record as the fastest studio album by an Asian artist to have seven tracks surpass 100 million streams each on Spotify.
