The idol group Stray Kids decorated the massive headlining stage at the 'Lollapalooza Chicago' music festival in the United States.
On August 2 (local time), Stray Kids took the Bud Light Stage as headliners at the global music festival 'Lollapalooza Chicago' held at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, which records 110,000 spectators each day of the performance. This marks their third headlining at a major overseas festival following 'I-Days' in Milan, Italy, and 'BST Hyde Park' (British Summer Time Hyde Park) in London, UK, in July this year. It is also significant as it follows their performance as the first K-pop artist at 'Lollapalooza Paris' in July 2023, making them headliners at 'Lollapalooza' for the second consecutive year.
The highlight of the day was Stray Kids' performance of their 2024 comeback title track 'Chk Chk Boom' from their mini album 'ATE', which topped the Billboard 200 for the fifth time. This track, being revealed for the first time at a festival, was enough to elevate the excitement of the members and the crowd to its peak.
Riding the wave of the enthusiastic response and cheers from Chicago, they also performed encore tracks from their mini album '樂-STAR' (Rock-Star) including the title track 'Rock (樂)', 'Victory Song', 'MIROH', and 'TOPLINE'. Even after the official performance ended, the audience, mesmerized by Stray Kids' stage presence, continued to request encores passionately.
Members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N responded by premiering 'Chk Chk Boom (Festival Ver.)' and concluded with 'Haven', filling the setlist with a total of 21 songs.
