Released on March 17, 2023, as the pre-release track for Jimin's first solo album FACE, Set Me Free Pt.2 recently crossed the 400-million-stream mark on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. This marks Jimin's third song to reach this milestone, following Who (title track of his second album MUSE, with 1.384 billion streams) and Like Crazy (title track of FACE, with 1.326 billion streams).


Set Me Free Pt.2 captivated audiences with its powerful choreography and artistic depth, showcasing Jimin's prowess as a "performance king." Upon its release, the song debuted at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, setting a record for the highest debut ranking by a K-pop soloist at the time. It also entered the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100 at No. 30, signaling Jimin's emergence as a global pop icon.


The song continues to perform strongly, with its official music video surpassing 164 million views on YouTube. Additionally, it has garnered over 470,000 searches on the global music search platform Shazam, proving its lasting popularity across multiple platforms.
