SEVENTEEN, LE SSERAFIM, and Lisa (BLACKPINK) lit up the stage at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMAs), held on September 11 at UBS Arena in New York, USA.
SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) won the "Best Group" award at the event, beating out renowned groups such as *NSYNC, Coldplay, and Imagine Dragons. This marks SEVENTEEN's second MTV VMA win, following their 2022 victory in the PUSH Performance of the Year category, solidifying their global popularity.

Through their agency, Pledis Entertainment, SEVENTEEN expressed their gratitude, saying, "We are honored to receive the 'Best Group' award at the 2024 MTV VMAs. We thank our fans, CARATs, for their continuous support and love. We will continue to bring great music and performances to you."

LE SSERAFIM (Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae) also won the PUSH Performance of the Year award, besting global artists such as Chapel Roan, Benson Boone, and RAYE. The group expressed their gratitude through their agency, Source Music, saying, "We are truly thankful to our fans, FEARNOTs, for this award. Standing on the '2024 MTV VMA' pre-show stage and winning this award feels like a dream. LE SSERAFIM is a group of five strong women who deliver messages of resilience, strength, and vulnerability. We are grateful for the love and support of our fans."

LE SSERAFIM also took the stage during the pre-show, performing their mini-album track "1-800-hot-n-fun." Their charismatic performance captured the audience’s attention, proving their title as one of the top-performing girl groups.

Meanwhile, BLACKPINK's Lisa, who has been making waves as a solo artist, won the "Best K-Pop" category with her solo track "ROCKSTAR." She triumphed over strong competitors like BTS’s Jungkook ("Seven"), NCT DREAM ("Smoothie"), NewJeans ("Super Shy"), Stray Kids ("S-Class"), and TXT ("Back for More"). This marks her second win in the Best K-Pop category, following her 2022 victory with "LALISA."
