BTS’s Jin has once again proven his enduring popularity by securing the No. 1 spot on the MY1PICK weekly ranking.
In the MY1PICK “K-Pop Individual Category Weekly Ranking” for the first week of September (August 31–September 7), Jin took first place with 8,640,930 hearts. From the 5th week of February last year until the 1st week of September this year, Jin has achieved an unprecedented 80 consecutive weeks at No. 1, showcasing his powerful fandom and global popularity.
Jin also displayed his dominance in themed votes, proving himself to be an artist of diverse charms. In the themed poll held from August 22 to August 28, “Which artist is a skilled performer who protects the main stage?”, Jin won overwhelmingly with 14,075 votes (49%).
Previously, Jin also ranked No. 1 in several other themed votes, including “A star born with perfect genes,” “A star who brings luck—better than winning first place in the lottery,” and “The owner of a refreshing smile that blows away the summer heat.”
The reward advertisement, designed with direct participation from fans, will feature Jin’s win in the “Skilled performer who protects the main stage” poll. It will be displayed for seven days, from September 9 to September 15, on the three-sided panoramic billboard at Seoul’s Konkuk University Station.
Meanwhile, from June 28 to August 10, Jin successfully held his first-ever solo fan concert and solo world tour, the “Run Seokjin Tour” (#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR). Spanning nine cities around the world with 18 shows, all performances were completely sold out, setting a new record and highlighting his immense global ticket power.
As an artist with both visuals and talent, Jin shone with his unrivaled presence throughout the tour. By presenting fans with diverse stages and actively communicating with them, he received explosive responses. His innovative concept of a fan-participation concert, combined with overwhelming stage dominance, set new milestones—further solidifying his status as a global superstar and solo artist.
