가수 임영웅의 생일(6울 16일)을 맞아 철원 지역 팬들이 장학금을 기탁, 나눔을 실천했다. 임영웅 팬클럽 '철원백골 영웅사랑회'는 16일 강원도 철원군 갈말읍 삼부연로 철원군청(군수 이현종)을 찾아 재단법인 청원장학회에 장학기금으로 장학금 100만 원을 전달했다.
15명으로 구성된 '철원백골 영웅사랑회'는 "적은 인원이지만 임영웅 님 노래에 흠뻑 빠져서 영웅 님 생일에 동참하게 됐다"라며 "장학금이 학생들을 위해 잘 쓰이길 바란다"고 밝혔다.
"앞으로도 더 열심히 좋은 일에 발벗고 동참하습니다. 임영웅 생일 축하합니다."
