Stray Kids has set a new record in the K-pop industry by surpassing 4.61 million copies sold in the first week, solidifying their status as a new force in the music scene.
On June 8, Stray Kids' third full-length album, '★★★★★ (5-STAR),' released on June 2, recorded a total of 4,617,499 copies sold in the first week according to the album sales aggregation site, Hanteo Chart.
This achievement marks a new record for first-week album sales in K-pop history, and Stray Kids has once again proven their confidence with the five stars they have given themselves. The anticipation for setting a new record had already begun when their third album achieved a pre-order of 4.93 million copies as of May 30, breaking the record for the highest number of pre-orders in K-pop history. 

This anticipation further heightened as they surpassed 5.13 million copies on June 1, just two days later. Additionally, based on the Hanteo Chart, the album sold 2,392,666 copies within two days, achieving a double million seller on its release day and becoming the protagonist of a new chapter in the music industry, surpassing the previous first-week record of their previous mini-album 'MAXIDENT.'
Stray Kids had already soared to new heights with their second full-length album, 'NOEASY,' becoming their first million-seller in 2021, followed by 'MAXIDENT,' which achieved double and triple million-seller status in 2022, making them the first artist from JYP Entertainment to achieve a quadruple million-seller with their third full-length album. 

Furthermore, in 2022, they became the only artist to have two mini-albums, 'ODDINARY' and 'MAXIDENT,' consecutively top the Billboard 200, the main chart of Billboard, in the United States. With their new album, the expectations for their global record-breaking march have grown even larger.

Tickets for Stray Kids' third solo fan meeting, 'Stray Kids 3RD FANMEETING 'PILOT: FOR ★★★★★,' were sold out rapidly after pre-sales for the fan club opened on June 5, and even the additional seats opened on June 7 were sold out.
