가수 이찬원의 생일(11월 1일)을 맞아 팬들이 소외된 이웃을 위한 기부로 선한 영향력을 실천했다. 이찬원 팬클럽 CWBB부산찬스방은 이찬원 생일을 기념해 1000만 원을 사단법인 연제이웃사랑회(이사장 정분옥)에 기부했다.
이찬원 팬클럽 CWBB부산찬스방은 "저소득층 아동과 노인분들께 쓰이도록 부산광역시 연제이웃사랑회에 이찬원 생일을 기념해 좋은곳에 쓰이도록 기부하게 됐다"고 밝혔다. 한편 TV조선 '미스터트롯' 시즌1에 출연, '미'(美)에 오르며 가요계 데뷔한 이찬원은 팬들의 사랑과 응원 속에 나날이 인기를 더하고 있다.
