Stray Kids has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube for the music video of their first Japanese original song, 'CIRCUS', marking a significant milestone for the fourth-generation K-pop group.
According to their agency, JYP Entertainment, on the 14th, Stray Kids' second Japanese mini-album 'CIRCUS', released on June 22, 2022, along with the title track's music video, has exceeded 100 million views on YouTube as of the 10th of this month.
With 'CIRCUS', they now join the ranks of other Stray Kids music videos such as 'God's Menu', 'Back Door', 'MIROH', 'My Pace', 'Voices', 'MANIAC', 'Hellevator', 'Christmas EveL', 'CASE 143', 'Special', 'Phobia (Bang Chan, Hyunjin)', and 'Rock (Levanter)', making them the group with the most music videos surpassing 100 million views among fourth-generation K-pop boy groups.
Achieving 100 million views with 'CIRCUS' is not only the group's first accomplishment for an original Japanese song but also the first for a fourth-generation K-pop group and the second for a K-pop boy group, following BTS. Stray Kids' success with this song extends to topping weekly charts on Billboard Japan such as 'Top Album Sales', 'Hot Albums', and 'Artist 100' for the week of June 20 to June 26, as well as reaching No. 1 on iTunes album charts in a total of 17 regions including Mexico and Spain.
Recently, they set another impressive record in Japan. Their live Blu-ray release, 'Stray Kids 2nd World Tour "MANIAC" ENCORE in JAPAN', which was released on February 7th, topped the Oricon daily Blu-ray ranking on February 6th and maintained its position for seven consecutive days until the 12th.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids will hold their fourth official fan meeting, 'Stray Kids 4TH FANMEETING 'SKZ'S MAGIC SCHOOL'', for three days from March 29th to 31st at the KSPO DOME in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul. On the last day of the fan meeting, on the 31st, they will conduct both offline performances and paid online live streaming through the Beyond LIVE platform.
