The final voting for the '2024 Universal Superstar Awards' has begun, starting with BTS→Lim Young-woong nominated. The main voting for '2024 USA', a K-pop festival for fans worldwide, is officially underway.
Organized by KM Chart and doohub, and sponsored by the Korea Management Association, the '2024 Universal Superstar Awards' will conduct its final voting from February 23 to March 14 through K-pop specialized applications such as 'MyOnePick' and 'Idol Champ'.
The final nominees for the '2024 USA' have been unveiled after pre-voting and preliminary rounds. In the category to select the ultimate worldwide star, 'Universal Super Icon', a total of 10 teams including MONSTA X, BTS, V (BTS), RM (BTS), Jin (BTS), Suga (BTS), Jungkook (BTS), Jimin (BTS), J-Hope (BTS), and Lim Young-woong are nominated. As all the top artists competing for the highest popularity are nominated, fierce competition is anticipated in this final round of voting.
In the 'Universal Golden Best' category, where candidates with excellent performance on the KM Chart have gathered, a total of 23 teams including Kang Daniel, Kim Ho-jung, Lee Chan-won, StayC, and Kiss of Life are competing for the trophy. In the male category of 'Universal Best Popularity', which will be awarded to the most popular artist, a total of 31 teams including 2PM, BTOB, ASTRO, Young Tak, BamBam, Jang Min-ho, and Jung Dong-won are nominated, while in the female category, a total of 30 teams including New Jinse, Jisoo (BLACKPINK), Taeyeon (Girls' Generation), VIVIZ, Secret Number, TWICE, and Song Gain have been nominated.
In the 'Universal Next Generation' category, which selects the most anticipated rising stars of K-pop, a total of 10 teams including ENSSAIN, RYSE, and BOY NEXT DOOR are nominated in the male category, while in the female category, a total of 10 teams including NiJu, I-Li One, and Kepler have entered the final voting. Additionally, the category for selecting the 'Universal Super Rookie', which showcases the rising stars demonstrating K-pop power in 2023, has nominated a total of 10 teams including Zero Base One, AnTeam, and Fantasy Boys, promising intense competition.

The final voting for '2024 USA' can be participated in through the applications 'MyOnePick' and 'Idol Champ', with the voting results being calculated with 50% weightage from each app.
Meanwhile, '2024 USA' will be held on March 27 at 7 p.m. at the Peace Hall of Kyung Hee University in Seoul, and will be broadcasted from 9 p.m. onwards through MBC M and Wavve. Detailed information such as the full artist lineup and ticket reservation schedule will be sequentially disclosed.
