According to Star News on the 16th, the broadcast of Mnet's music program 'M Countdown' will feature aespa's comeback stage with all four members, Karina, Giselle, Ningning, and Winter. There was chaos at the prerecording site due to a fire outbreak, causing artists and audience members to evacuate. However, it was confirmed that aespa had already finished recording their comeback stage. The fire broke out later during additional shooting to enhance the completeness of the stage set.
The 'M Countdown' team stated to Star News, "The initial fire was immediately extinguished upon detection, and artists and audience members were evacuated from the stage." They further stated, "There were no casualties due to this incident." Additionally, they mentioned, "We are conducting flame retardant treatment on all sets of 'M Countdown' and paying close attention to maintenance to prevent a similar issue from happening again."
However, only three members, excluding Winter, are scheduled to appear on the live stage. Winter, who recently underwent chest surgery, decided to take a break due to feeling unwell.
